ITINERARY AND PARKING FACILITIES

Stadskasteel Oudaen is easy to reach. We advise you to take following exits on the Utrecht ring road:

Exit 30: (Veemarkt), direction centre (Biltse Rading), when reaching the first two roundabouts (Kardinaal Alfrinkplein and Eykmanplein) please go straight on (Kardinaal de Jongweg), this road is finally split up in two separate roads (Salvador Allendeplein). Make sure you get in the left-hand lane at the traffic lights to drive on the Talmalaan. Reaching the second traffic lights turn right (Draaiweg)  and reaching the next traffic lights (D. Van Mollemstraat) turn left (Oudenoord). After the next traffic lights turn right. At the next roundabout (Paardenveld) turn left and get in the right-hand lane. You are now not following the main road but you are driving a parallel road at the right, drive straight ahead. Follow the indicated car parks. The best car park is”Vredenburg” (for your information when using a navigation system: Rijnkade 16, 3511 LC Utrecht). It’s located at the opposite side (left). You can reach this car park by driving underneath the Hoog Catharijne footbridge, go left at the traffic lights and drive again underneath the same footbridge. Directly after the footbridge the car park is located at your right. After having parked your car please follow the below walking route.

Exit 8: Direction centre (Drs. Martin Luther Kinglaan), at the first roundabout (24 oktoberplein) straight on (weg der Verenigde Naties). This road becomes the Graadt van Roggenweg, leading you along the tramrails. Cross the tramrails and go beneath the Daalsetunnel and keep to the right immediately. You are now not following the main road but you are driving a parallel road at the right, drive straight ahead. Follow the indicated car parks. The best car park is”Vredenburg” (for your information when using a navigation system: Rijnkade 16, 3511 LC Utrecht). Its located at the opposite side (left). You can reach this car park by driving underneath the Hoog Catharijne footbridge, go left at the traffic lights and drive again underneath the same footbridge. Directly after the footbridge the car park is located at your right. After having parked your car please follow the below walking route.

Exit 17: Utrecht (Kanaleneiland) direction centre (Europalaan), at the first roundabout (Europaplein) straight on, at the second roundabout (Anne-Frankplein) straight on (Den Oudenlaan), at the first traffic lights get in the left-hand lane (follow Den Oudenlaan) at the second traffic lights straight on, this will lead you to a T-junction where you can only turn right (Graadt van Roggenweg). You are now driving along the tramrails, when reaching the NH Utrecht hotel you have to cross the tramrail (Westplein). Go beneath the Daalsetunnel and keep to the right immediately. You are now not following the main road but you are driving a parallel road at the right, drive straight ahead. Follow the indicated car parks. The best car park is”Vredenburg” (for your information when using a navigation system: Rijnkade 16, 3511 LC Utrecht). Its located at the opposite side (left). Walking route: public transport / car park
Coming from Utrecht CS please follow the signposts “centrumzijde”. Coming from shopping mall “Hoog Catharijne” or the car park please follow the signposts “Vredenburg”. Cross the Vredenburgplein direction perfumery Douglas. Walk through the Drieharingstraat; at the end turn left. After approximately 70 metres you will reach Oudegracht 99 Stadskasteel Oudaen.
